Power Systems Analysis Engineer

Our client is a large player in the electricity industry in the Northland area. Due to high and continual growth, they are looking to expand their team and are looking for an experienced Power Systems Analysis Engineer to join them.
With both brown and green filed projects on the go, our client has a major investment plan in place.
In the role of Power Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Helping to prepare the Network development plan
- Carrying out investigations, surveys and analysis prior to the design phase of projects
- Look at Network security, reliability and optimisation
- Carry out Load Flow and Fault Analysis
And in general help tie operations, Planning and Maintenance of our network together.
To be successful in this position, you will be:
- Be tertiary qualified in Power or Electrical Engineering
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post grad experience in the power distribution industry
- Have experience of Network planning & analysis and cost benefit analysis
- Be familiar with DCS, SCADA, Protection and Communications systems
- Have above average computer and communications skills
You will be methodical, adaptable and self motivated, with a desire to see the network operating at its optimum.
